I’ve been wanting to out someone I know. I met him at a well known cruising gay site on the internet. We met up, had amazing sex, and after that we continued having sex about once or twice a week for a couple of months, after that we had sex about every two weeks for a few months. When we met he told me he was a teacher at a university, and later I learned he taught law at that university (therefore he is a lawyer), he was also a painter, and that he had studied theology. But never came across my mind he would be religious until I googled him and discover he was a preacher. He told me many times before he didn’t want to fall in love and that he didn’t believe in love, and later I found out he is a catholic preacher, he travels all over the country (and some times to other countries) preaching the catholic faith (things he himself doesn’t believe in).
Imagine my surprise!
That’s when I started growing the idea of outing him out of the closet, as to make it more difficult for him to preach one thing and live a completely different life (and for his conversations and stories he used to tell me, a very promiscuous life). As to try stoping him from fooling people and taking advantage of them. As an attempt to make people aware that he preaches against gays and for the church that excommunicates gays, him being one of those he preaches against (and most likely also excommunicated by the very church he preaches for).
I don’t know what to do. I really hate people at that level of hypocrisy. So, what would you do, would you try to find a way to out that person as an attempt to stop him from fooling religion and the good intentions of people, or would you simply let it go?
Please, help me analyze that situation and dilemma.
Needless to say we no longer speak to each other.
